Dock Ash Unloading Hose

A hose is a type of tubular rubber product used for transporting gases, liquids, pasty or granular materials.
  • Product Description
  • A hose is a type of tubular rubber product used for transporting gases, liquids, pasty or granular materials. It is composed of an inner and outer rubber layer and a reinforcing layer. The material of the reinforcing layer can be cotton fibers, various synthetic fibers, carbon fibers, asbestos, steel wires, etc. Generally, the inner and outer rubber layers of ordinary hoses are made of natural rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber or butadiene rubber; oil-resistant hoses are made of chloroprene rubber, nitrile rubber; acid and alkali-resistant, high-temperature-resistant hoses are made of ethylene-propylene rubber, fluorine rubber or silicone rubber, etc.
There are many types of rubber hoses. The unified naming method is based on the differences in materials, structures, and purposes. The full name of the product is: material + structure (process) + purpose + hose. For example: cotton-woven oil-resistant hose; steel-wire wound pressure-resistant hose.
The structure of the rubber hose is usually divided into: the inner rubber layer, the outer rubber layer and the core layer (or the middle layer). The inner rubber layer directly withstands the wear and erosion from the transported medium; the outer rubber layer protects the inner body of the hose from damage and erosion by the external environment; the core layer is the pressure-bearing layer of the hose, giving the tube body strength and rigidity. The working pressure of the hose depends on the material and structure of the core layer.
Rubber hoses have been applied in numerous fields of daily life and production. Based on the usage scenarios, common types of hoses include: water supply hoses, hot water pipes, steam pipes, marine pipes, food and beverage pipes, air pipes, welded pipes, gas pipes, ventilation pipes, material pipes, oil pipes, chemical pipes, high-pressure pipes, and so on.
